Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics provides services to more than 650,000 patients every year through over 750 patient care centers across the United States.  To deliver enhanced ongoing patient care, each care center holds a yearly Patient Evaluation Clinic (PEC) event which requires a high level of detail and organization.

 

DPD’s solution required working closely with Hanger’s staff to create a detailed calendar of events that enabled tracking of time-sensitive mailings. Also, a secure system was established for Hanger to ensure the highest degree of confidentiality related to patient information to surpass HIPPA requirements regulating mailing data to DPD.  Lastly, test mailings were implemented to determine exact mail dates, which would ensure attendance and guarantee program ROI.  As a result of DPD’s direct mail expertise, Hanger’s event attendance increased year over year.  In addition to assisting Hanger in improving patient care standards, by relying on our mailing capabilities and postal knowledge, Hanger has also saved approximately $8,000 in postage costs over the last two years.
